Care
The Essential Rule
Put your pearls on after you have finished getting ready, and take them off before you go to bed.
Perfume, skincare, makeup and hair products may affect the surface of pearls, so it is best to let these products dry before wearing your jewellery.
How to Store Pearls
Keep your pearls in a separate soft pouch or a lined jewellery box.
Pearls are softer than many other gemstones and metals, so storing them with other jewellery may cause scratches. Avoid placing them in direct sunlight or in very dry spaces for long periods of time.
How to Clean Pearls
After wearing, gently wipe your pearls with a clean, soft cloth. This helps remove natural oils, sweat and surface dust, while keeping the pearls’ natural lustre visible.
Do not soak pearls in water. Avoid soap, detergent, alcohol, chemical cleaners and ultrasonic cleaning machines, as these may damage the pearl surface.
